Healdsburg District Hospital is looking for either a Quality Director and a Risk/Compliance Officer or someone who is experienced with Quality, Risk and Compliance.
JOB SUMMARY / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Compliance Officer: plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the functions, operations and activities required for an effective healthcare compliance program; develops goals and objectives; develops policies and procedures; has direct reporting responsibilities to the Board of Directors as well as to the CEO.
Enterprise risk management: plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates various functions, operations and activities pertaining to enterprise risk management; develops goals and objectives; develops policies and procedures;
Management Representative for oversight of the Quality Management System as designated by Executive Leadership and approved by the Board of Directors; plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates various functions, operations and activities pertaining to quality; develops goals and objectives; develops policies and procedures; implements and maintains ISO 9001 as the Quality Management System
Coordinates compliance with State and Federal requirements to maintain accreditation and licensure.
Licensure and Certification: Professional certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and /or Professional certification as a Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Compliance Certification Board and/or Professional certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM).
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business administration, public administration, finance, health science, or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Experience Required: Five years of increasingly responsible professional or analytical experience in a health care institution that includes responsibility for administering and monitoring risk management programs and/or compliance activities, including at least five years in an acute care hospital setting.
