The Physician Clinic Administrator is responsible for the successful management and operations of medical practices involving multiple specialty disciplines and clinic sites. These include the Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Dental, Orthopedics, Visiting Specialists, and Physical Therapy clinics. Most of these specialties operate under a Rural Health Clinic designated practice and the Administrator is responsible to ensure compliance with the Rural Health Clinic Code of Federal Regulation Title 22, Section 491. In addition, the Administrator provides oversight of the Population Health department activities to ensure successful participation in a collaborative Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and federally funded projects aimed to redesign the health care delivery in the outpatient clinic practices. The Administrator fosters collaborative working relations with the physicians, management, and staff to promote the best patient experience and health outcomes possible. Through oversight of the Managers, the Administrator is responsible for planning, leading and directing the overall clinic operations and performance for the District.

Master's Degree required.
Minimum of 5 years management-level experience in healthcare including 3 years in medical practice management.
Knowledge of Medicare including MSSPs and ACOs, Medicaid, RHCs, managed care and other third party payer's guidelines
Knowledge of principles and practices of health care planning and management sufficient to manage, direct, and coordinate the operation of a healthcare organization.
Knowledge of the purposes, organization, and policies of the community's health systems sufficient to interact with other health care providers.
Ability to lead employees to accomplish all objectives while inspiring confidence and motivation.
Ability to relate well to patients, physicians, employees and other professionals.
Ability to remain calm and exhibit tact in stressful and/or delicate situations and be able to handle confidential issues with discretion.
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
