The ideal candidate serves as the senior administrative leader responsible for directing clinical research operational aspects forÂ our Comprehensive Cancer Center.Â The Mayo Clinic Cancer Center is the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center located in three geographic regions, Rochester, MN, Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ and Jacksonville, FL.Â This position will be based in Rochester, MN and will work collaboratively across the enterprise to achieve clinical research operating objectives for the Cancer Center.Â
Qualified candidatesÂ must have aÂ Mastersâ™Â degree in business, health care administration or related field and five years of research and/or healthcare management experience required. Operational experience must include working with physicians and allied health staff. Must have demonstrated competencies in leadership, management, operations and communication. Broad based upper management experience is required in order to coordinate a wide range of activities.Â
Incumbents for this position should be interested in a long term engagement with the Cancer Center.Â
