The Vice President is directly responsible for all phases of facility performance including Tissue Processing, Planning and Inventory Control, Cost Management, Training, Facilities, Employee Development, Safety, ISO compliance, AATB compliance and Performance Management. Additionally, responsibilities include supporting key initiatives as set forth by the President/CEO. Must have extensive experience in Tissue Banking.

Assists in the preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.
Oversees managers who direct department activities that implement the organization's policies.
Implements programs that meet company goals and objectives.
Creates the structure and processes necessary to manage the organization's current activities and its projected growth.
Maintains a sound plan of corporate organization, establishing policies to ensure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession.
Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.
Supervises implementation of hardware and/or software systems to assist in the smooth and efficient flow of processes/information.
Establishes operating policies consistent with the existing policies and objectives and ensures their execution.
Evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the President/CEO.
Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
Ensures that the quality policy is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization.
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business or Medical related field. Masters Degree or higher preferred.
12-15 years management experience in a tissue bank required
Strong knowledge of FDA, ISO and AATB guidelines
Excellent leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
Ability to work with MRP/ERP software
Excellent Operational skills including JIT and Resource Management Work Environment
