We are currently seeking a Director of Human Resources to be responsible for developing and executing human resources (HR) strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, organizational and performance management, training and development, culture/employee experience and total rewards (compensation/benefits). The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership by communicating HR needs and plans to the executive leadership team, shareholders and board of directors, as well as translate organization strategic and tactical plans into HR strategic and operational plans.
The Director of Human Resources will promote, support and exemplify a culture focused on excellence to include patient centered care, engagement, accountability, customer service, safety, quality and organizational change, and serve as the subject matter expert across all aspects of Human Resources.
Minimum qualifications include:
A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related filed or equivalent applicable experience. Master’s degree in Organizational Development or related field is preferred. Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) Certification is preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience preferably in a senior-level HR position where people are viewed as a critical component to the business. Three years of experience in healthcare preferred.
A history of building collaborative relationships and being viewed as a critical contributing member of the senior management team
Experience as a confidant to the CEO and other senior executives across all facets of human capital, business strategy and culture
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Knowledge of local, regional and national healthcare initiatives and changes that will impact the sustainability of MCMC’s ability to attract and retain the best employees
A "nose for talent" to implement and lead innovative processes for hiring, developing and retaining great people across the organization
