Reporting to QHS Vice President of Human Resources, the position of Director of System Strategic Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition offers a seasoned and strategic leader the opportunity to join an evolving and growing division as a critically important member of the HR Leadership Team. This Director will lead the organization’s strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition strategy to support the overall objectives of the organization. Additionally, this Director will lead the development of effective talent acquisition strategies of employees and of employed physicians in order to establish and bolster QHS’s reputation as an Employer of Choice. From a workforce planning standpoint, this position will also be responsible for promoting and anticipating recruitment needs and for the delivery and communication of all appropriate metrics and analytics to leaders throughout the health system.
This Director must be a seasoned healthcare leader with several years’ workforce planning/talent acquisition experience in positions of increasing responsibility, scale and complexity. Successful candidates will be able to point to a demonstrated track record of effectively using data to educate, inform and drive decision making in a highly competitive market for talent.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, and Master’s degree is preferred. A strong workforce planning and talent acquisition background, an ability to effectively gather and use predictive analytics in decision making, and knowledge of trend setting and state-of-the-art practices, systems and metrics is imperative. Experience in physician recruitment is desired.
