Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is looking for a Chief Operating Officer. This is an opportunity for a seasoned COO to play a key role in the evolution of an innovative community health center with industry-wide recognition.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will be responsible for conceiving, designing, recommending, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of infrastructure and systems that enable cost effective, performance-driven delivery of CS-HHC’s services. The new leader will ensure that business operations are efficient and effective and coordinated with clinical operations in a way that ensures proper management of resources, distribution of goods and services to customers, and analysis of queue systems is executed.
The next COO will be Master’s prepared with a minimum of five years of successful experience. This individual must have experience working with large, full service ambulatory clinics, health centers or hospitals in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a track record of growing a practice. S/he will be data driven, results oriented and decisive and will continuously seek and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center (CS-HHC) is a federally qualified community health center established in 1968 as a collaboration between the community and Yale School of Medicine. The first community health center in Connecticut, the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center has a long history of serving New Haven neighborhoods, which are among the most disadvantaged in the state.
