The Department of Pediatrics at Gundersen Health System is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our growing team. The Pediatric Endocrinologist team consists of 1 MD, 1 NP, 3 CDE trained RNs, 2 CDE trained dieticians, 2 endocrine RNs, a social worker, and a psychologist with special interest in chronic health conditions. The practice is well established in the region and it is a 100% pediatric endocrinology/diabetes practice.
Practice details: •Primarily outpatient practice/inpatient consults only •Patient volume/day: 7-10 •1:3 Call •Clinic hours: 8-5
The Department of Pediatrics consists of 6 pediatric hospitalists, approximately 20 general pediatric providers (includes physicians and NP’s), 3 NICU physicians, 3 PICU physicians. Our pediatric specialty areas include allergy/asthma/immunology, behavioral health, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, endocrinology, gastroenterology, genetics, hematology/oncology, neonatology, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and therapies (including PT, OT, and SLP). Pediatric inpatients are cared for primarily by a hospitalist on a beautiful new inpatient ward, which includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
