Abeln, Magy, Underberg & Associates has been retained by an independent leader in Minnesota's health care industry to recruit for a Vice President, Operations - Clinic Services. The Vice President, Operations – Clinic Services is a senior management position responsible for ensuring the highest quality customer care in our primary and specialty clinics, while also delivering on the financial goals of the business and establishing the organization’s clinics as a leader in the marketplace.
Emphasis will be on executing upon the vision and developing the supporting infrastructure and systems such that the outcomes will lead to a market reputation of quality and exceptional service. The Vice President provides overall strategic and operational leadership for the growth, integration and performance of specialty and primary care clinics.
In addition to accountability for the discreet programs and departments, the Vice President is also responsible to partner with the other division and system leaders to integrate operations across the care continuum. The focus of this integration is on ensuring a consistently excellent customer experience, while managing the total cost of care (TCC) and continuously improving clinical outcomes.
Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or closely related field required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in clinic operations including:
Minimum of 7 years people leadership experience with a track record of creating and leading a collaborative, highly-productive work environment with a relentless focus on providing exceptional patient/customer care
Demonstrated ability to coach team members and build productive teams, including providing critical feedback to improve performance and demonstrated skill in creating a culture of accountability
Ability to create short and long-term strategic plans and annual operating and financial plans and forecasts, while delivering strong results against the plan
Ability to establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring critical aspects of operational management and development, including its impact on P&L outcomes
Detail-oriented, with an ability to tackle complex assignments independently with established result track record
Demonstrated experience in improving multi-clinic operational and P&L performance
