Responsibilitiesinclude medical inpatient care, medical consultation, teaching, active participation in quality efforts, and facilitating safe discharges. Clinical coverage under this appointment will be on an intermittent, as needed basis only.
Citizenship: Citizen of the United States. Under certain circumstances non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens.
English Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in both spoken and written English.
Education: Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. (see questionnaire education factor for more specific education information).
Licensure and Registration: Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia.
Board Certification: Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicineand BLS/ACLS certification.
