A professional responsible for implementing the cancer program activities to maintain accreditation by the American College of Surgeons (ACOS) Commission on Cancer. Identifies, accessions, and maintains records of all cancer patients diagnosed and/or treated at the facility. Maintains current knowledge of ACOS, NCI-SEER, FORDS, NCBD, Collaborative Stage, and AJCC-TMN Staging rules and regulations.
Two years' experience in Health Information Management department or Tumor Registry preferred.
