Under the direction of the Vice President of Finance and in conjunction with other members of the ambulatory team, performs complex budgeting and accounting functions; conducts financial, statistical, and analytical studies; prepares and assists in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and claims for reimbursement according to prescribed guidelines. Compiles and analyzes financial information for the organization with an emphasis in reimbursement. Has knowledge of commonly-used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures. Also performs monthly audits of managed care and GPO contracts to ensure accurate pricing and reimbursements.
Collects and prepares financial data, analyzes fiscal accounting and related systems, regulatory submissions, fiscal presentations for budget and reimbursement, and financial feasibility studies. Analyzes operation of system, prepares recommendations and documentation to create and update fiscal services and other related policies and procedures with respect to operating systems. Forecasts and analyzes financial trends.
Experience: 1-2 years. Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
3 or more years experience in healthcare preferred
