Work with FP&A to ensure that all budget templates are submitted
Assist VPs/Budget owners by ensuring budget templates are filled out
Work monthly with Finance to ensure that all debits/credits are in the correct cost centers
Center point of contact for all budget item
Develop/manage allocations to Tenet entities
Prepare information for journal entry reclassifications based on invoices submitted
Code and send Invoices to AP for payment
Ensure dollars being spend meet contract terms and request refunds from vendors when overcharged
Create monthly analysis of performance spend to budget including reviewing SWB, Supplies, Controlled and Variables expenses
Ensure vendors are set up in VQP for AP
Facilitate cost cutting initiatives
Monitor cost savings initiatives/budget offsets
Work with Payroll accounting to ensure all SWB expense is moved to appropriate entities with shared employees
Develop allocation methodology and prepare budget guidance templates/information annually
Vendor and Contract Management:
Proactively manage all aspects of the assigned vendor relationships. Serve as Primary contact with vendors for Tenet Marketing, includes all Contractors and Services. Ensure effective service delivery from vendors. Coordinate delivery of all vendor products and services across Tenet Marketing. Coordinate with IT and with business lines to ensure successful delivery.
Maintain log of all service issues across Tenet Marketing and communicate to vendor. Set regular meetings for issue resolution and status updates. Gain service commitments on issue resolution from vendors. Partner with business owner to overcome issues. Monitor SLA adherence. Hold vendor's accountable for SLA commitments.
Participate in contract negotiations with vendor. Track all vendor contracts and initiate contract renewals/changes/terminations. Track and pay all invoices and true-up budgets for all contracts of responsibility.
Initiate discussions on required service enhancements and new product/service delivery
Gathers, analyzes and interprets a wide variety of data to identify patterns and trends across marketing functions.
Develops reports, charts, tables and other visual aids to support findings.
Advises cross functional business partners on patterns and relationships in data to recommend directions and outcomes.
Assist in development of predicative models for continuing evolution of data insights
Organizational leadership required, preferably in an operational or service function.
Specific experience in vendor relationship management preferred.
Proven ability to achieve improved service results through effective management strategy.
Experience in developing and implementing effective service level measurements required.
