Department: Geisinger Health Plan -Customer Service Support Team

Assists in the configuration and management of specified programs, products and services for three major areas within configuration. The position will have one area of focus and provide back up support to the other two areas.
Responsible for assisting in the ongoing configuration, management and oversight of consumer driven products including health reimbursement arrangements, health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts. Establishes and maintains effective consumer driven procedures and monitors the execution of those procedures. Works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Configuration and IT teams to provide accurate information and claims processing.
Responsible for assisting in the ongoing configuration, management and oversight of Facet CMU (Configuration Move Utility) data management system. Identifies factors causing deficient data moves and takes steps necessary to resolve data issues. Establishes and maintains effective data management procedures and monitors the execution of those procedures in all environments. Works closely with configuration and IT teams to coordinate and track data move requests and resolve data move issues.
Responsible for assisting in the ongoing configuration, management and oversight of Facets EDI 270/271 Medical Application. Establishes and maintains effective EDI 270/271 procedures and monitors the execution of those procedures. Works closely with PNM, Customer Service, Configuration and IT teams to enhance the 271 response to provide accurate information and reduce provider calls.
Helps ensure continued operational functionality and accuracy of the Facets system that will in turn lead to membership retention, growth and member and provider satisfaction. Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger Health System in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction. Works under the supervision of the System Configuration Manager on the Customer Service Support Team

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or similar field with Facets product experience or a minimum of two years Health Plan experience required.
An Associate’s Degree with a minimum of four years Health Plan experience required OR minimum of six years health care, employee benefits, health insurance or related field.
Senior Product System Analyst handling consumer driven must maintain PA Sales License

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Independent travel to Health Plan offices, broker offices and employer groups may be required.
