The IT Support Analyst is responsible for coordinating the implementation and support of the Electronic Health Record and Practice Management System into the employed physician practices at RWJBarnabas Health. This person shall act as support liaison among stakeholders, coordinate system IDs, as well as perform system file maintenance for each of the systems.
Act as primary contact and support liaison between end users, IT&S, and vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Assist Implementation Specialists and Cerner in data collection for additional tasks (e.g., NJIIS)
Assist in other projects as assigned.
Build and maintain necessary Master Files on EHR and Practice Management System including user IDs, immunization registry and others.
Coordinate merges of duplicate patient accounts on ambulatory electronic health record and practice management systems, working with other team members as necessary.
Escalate problems to the appropriate level to achieve resolution and minimize downtime or practice workflow disruption.
Manage exception reports (security, merge, dupe, etc.), eliminating errors and updating within an agreed upon turnaround time.
Manage, maintain and follow up on change requests from users, Support and Services, and vendors.
Monitor, respond to and address support tickets submitted by users via Remedy.
Notify end users of system status via e-mail and web page announcements
Perform testing and validation of datasets, systems, IDs, applications in preparation for additional rollouts.
Prepare for annual addition of Resident Physicians and medical students to the EHR system, including system IDs.
Request changes in system environments and system modifications from vendors.
Request user accounts for providers and staff with appropriate security level access from vendors.
Responsible for coordinating the implementation and support of the Electronic Health Record and or Practice Management System into the employed physician practices or newly acquired practices at Barnabas Health.
Update UCern and IT&S web pages with announcements, schedules, and notification of system status.

High School Graduate / GED / Equivalent Work Experience 5 years required
Vocational / Technical School / Diploma Program preferred
Proficiency with Medical Records (EMR)
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
