Provides spiritual and emotional support for patients, their families and staff. Works closely with interdisciplinary team to meet holistic needs of patient-family care, including religious rites and services as appropriate. Accredited and in good standing by appropriate faith group.
Master's Degree in Theology or Divinity
Minimum of two years of experience in ministry, healthcare setting preferred
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Board certified or board certifiable
If Board certified, certification must be from the National Associate of Catholic Chaplains
(NACC) or the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC)
Endorsement by denomination for faith group
