The Sales and Marketing Development Director is responsible for the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies related to all new, internal and external development projects.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote and ensure that all corporate philosophies and objectives are maintained.
2. Monitor census and payer mix and adjusts the sales and marketing strategies as necessary.
3. Competitor Analysis as required
4. Assist with the development of any sales and marketing collateral material.
Monitor and analyze community sales conversion ratios, inquiry statistics, referral sources, weekly sales activity reports, lost inquiries, move in/out trends, etc. Identify trends and recommendations to operations team to improve results.
Train community sales and operation staff on the following: lead management system, referral development, inquiry management, touring protocols, identifying and eliminating community barriers to census development, public relations, sales and marketing planning and execution, sales process, management, and skill development.
Develop, recommend and implement systems, processes, and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the sales & marketing function for each development project.
Prepare, review, and distribute weekly marketing reports.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local ordinances/regulations, as well as, review availability of marketing materials.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Recommended Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field ; or 3 years equivalent sales
Must possess direct sales experience with demonstrated results and sales management
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have proven skills in working independently, be self-motivated and goal oriented.
Must have experience in strategic analysis and business planning.
Experience with Community Based Marketing
Experience with applicable PC-based computer programs
Experience with computer Ad creation and editing as well as Social Media usage.
Experience with Long Term Care and Senior Living Marketing
Organized team player with the ability to multitask in a team environment
Proven skills to work independently be self-motivated and goal directed
Excellent interpersonal skills
