Department: Customer Care Team - Geisinger Health Plan

Work Schedule: 8:30am – 5pm
The Customer Care Associate is the main point of contact a customer makes with the health plan. They will provide exceptional customer service to customers by answering questions and/or resolving concerns through appropriate education, information, and follow-up.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of practices, tools, and techniques for communicating with a customer.
Demonstrates competence in organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrates the ability to organize workload, manage time and resources, and schedule and prioritize basic projects and tasks.
Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers or workstations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one-year customer service, hospital or insurance experience, including patient or public contact.
High School Diploma/GED
