About Hospice of Spokane
Hospice of Spokane is our community’s only nonprofit hospice. We have served the Greater Spokane area since 1977. We are nationally-recognized as experts in helping people handle end-of-life issues with grace, dignity, comfort and peace of mind. Our comprehensive knowledge, reputation and trust of the community come from decades of experience and dedication to providing the highest quality care. We also serve Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties.
As part of our mission to the community, we provide many services to families at no charge, including massage therapy and animal visitation for patients, as well as bereavement support to the entire community (not just those served by hospice), including a children’s bereavement camp.
We have two Hospice Houses, each 12 room facilities offering a comforting, homelike environment for patients in the last weeks of life. Our Spokane Palliative Care (SPC) provides support to improve quality of life for patients who are still pursuing curative treatment or do not meet hospice eligibility.
