This Senior Director will work closely with executive leadership and physicians in one of the largest POL’s in the country. ProHEALTH is the largest physician group within Optum and has strategic plans for significant growth of which the laboratory is an essential part. This position will have the opportunity to lead the development of a new reference lab, financially supported by Optum.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced healthcare laboratory operations professional with a strong background in operations, strategic planning, administration, physician relations and financial performance. Demonstrated success in developing, growing and building a large laboratory is highly desired.
Ideal candidates for this position will have:
Minimum of five years of experience as an Administrative Laboratory Director.
Minimum of five years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
Proven executive leader with extensive understanding of laboratory operations.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
Experience maintaining system policy and procedure.
