The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Prepares monthly general and standard journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations.
Ensures that accruals are made appropriately each month.
Assists auditors with interim and year-end audit.
Assists in preparation of federal, state and other governmental reports such as annual tax returns, sales tax returns, etc.
Maintains and reviews cost center and appropriation accounts, including trial balances, to verify accuracy with coding, classifying and posting.
Ensures all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and supported by valid detail.
Reviews monthly financials for all practices for accuracy, reasonableness and completeness.
Provides various reporting as requested.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of fixed assets, records including depreciation.
Participates in professional development activities.
Follows the CHRISTUS Health guidelines related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Maintains strict confidentiality.
