We are currently seeking a talented Medical Surgical ICU & TELE MANAGER to join our growing team at Abrazo Central Campus.
Multi-department management of day to day operations. Directs, supervises, orients/trains and evaluates staff of both the Medical Surgical ICU and Telemetry units. Enforces policies, procedures and standards of operation. Actively participates in budgetary and fiscal accountabilities. Renders individualized comprehensive nursing care, based on nursing process, to meet the patient’s physical, psychological, spiritual, social and educational needs. Manages the staff to meet designated goals. Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, scheduling, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, enhancing patient experience, approving supply orders and department strategic planning.
Special Skills: Must be able to work under deadlines. Must be able to utilize independent decision making skills in a wide variety of situations.
Requires a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities. Personal computer skills required. Frequent contact with employees, physicians, customers, community individuals and volunteers. Must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate will possess a BSN, MSN preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical nursing experience with minimum of 1 year in an ICU required, relevant clinical nursing experience in Telemetry an asset, 1 year of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an Accredited Nursing School or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master Degree.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years relevant clinical nursing experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One year supervisory experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona.
CPR required. ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: CCRN for ICU
