Minimally Invasive Coronary Artery Bypass (CABG) Surgeon University of California, San Francisco
The Department of Surgery, University of California, San Francisco, is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time academic surgeon with an exemplary record of patient care and expertise in minimally invasive cardiac surgery with a clinical interest in thoracoscopically assisted on and off-pump coronary artery bypass (CABG) surgery. Endoscopic harvesting of conduits and total arterial revascularization techniques are strongly desired. The candidate should also have experience with less invasive aortic surgery including endoscopic aortic root and ascending aortic surgery. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a cardiovascular surgeon. Applicants with demonstrated leadership skills and an interest in clinical trials are encouraged to apply. This position will lead the minimally invasive coronary revascularization program in the department.
Candidates must have recognized skills in the education of surgery residents, medical students, and fellows, and will be expected to be active participants in the department's residency training and educational programs.
