Chief of Urogynecology

Orlando Health, a not-for-profit healthcare organization with $5.6 billion of assets under management serving Central Florida and beyond, seeks an outstanding leader as the Chief of Urogynecology for Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. The Chief of Urogynecology will be responsible for developing, building and leading the Division of Urogynecology and for providing evidence-based and multidisciplinary care for women with urogynecologic conditions. In addition, the Chief will provide leadership and management to the division members in order to support the Division mission and goals for patient care, education and public service. The Chief will represent the division externally to regulatory agencies, other healthcare organizations and providers, and the public. The Chief will work with other Women’s Health Division Chiefs and other clinical leaders as appropriate to support and advance women’s health goals. Established in 2011, Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG) now includes more than 740 employed physicians and 400 APP’s trained in more than 50 adult and pediatric specialty practices located throughout Orlando and across six counties. In the Women’s Health Practice, we directly employ 61 physicians and 15 APPs representing General OB/GYN, OB Hospital Medicine, GYN Surgery, Maternal Fetal Medicine, GYN/Onc Surgery and Urogynecology. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies is dedicated exclusively to the unique healthcare needs of women and babies in a caring, family-centered environment. An extraordinary Orlando Health facility, Winnie Palmer is home to leading physicians, surgeons and specialists, as well as one of the nation’s largest and most successful neonatal intensive care units. Physicians provide specialized care that covers all facets of women's health, from comprehensive gynecological services and minimally invasive surgeries to obstetrics and high-risk pregnancies and births. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital has a total of 350 beds, 142 of those beds are in the NICU. Their women’s emergency room or triage area is one of the largest and busiest in the country and has approximately 50,000 visits annually. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer also has a five bed ICU dedicated to women. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital has one of the busiest and most experienced labor and delivery units in the nation, delivering over 14,000 babies every year. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer is the second largest birth volume hospital in the United States. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is the largest in the United States under one roof.
