The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The Product Manager will strategically evaluate and administer program developments that align with ASCP’s organizational goals. Oversees the production and institutional registration activities associated with two residents, five fellowship in-service examinations, and an educational question bank. Provides direction to volunteers, maintains multiple databases and learning management information systems related to examination production, enrollments, scoring, and reporting.
Provide technical expertise for the optimum formatting of questions, images, references, and educational feedback while meeting production schedules and ensuring timely resolution of issues as needed.
Manage the institutional registration, scoring, and reporting of in-service examinations and related continuing medical education products ensuring accurate data is maintained in the internal and interdepartmental databases.
Collaborate and communicate with ASCP colleagues to enhance or troubleshoot technological systems that affect user experience.
Implement and monitor quality assurance standards for each product.
Provide concierge customer service in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain and update learning management systems ensuring optimum product delivery.
Responsible for receiving and evaluating volunteer disclosure forms in compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
Evaluate product surveys and feedback to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement to add value to members.
Manage relationships with 70+ committee volunteers across two committees.
Plan, organize, and facilitate two annual in house meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or related field. Area of study to include medical laboratory sciences preferred.
Must have strong project development, management, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with volunteers or committees to develop programs and advance initiatives preferred.
Excellent detail and organizational skills needed, with the ability to adapt to a variable workload and function in a deadline-oriented environment. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt while maintaining work quality.
Excellent verbal communication skills required
Computer proficiency, experience with MS Office required with competency in word processing and spreadsheet programs. Proficient typing speed. Familiar with learning management systems technologies preferred. Knowledge of DreamWeaver and Adobe Photoshop is a plus. Proofreading, production, and editing experience are very desirable.
Physical Abilities: Some moderate lifting (primarily files), computer work.
Ability to work independently. A strong team player with an ability to adapt to a goal-driven, fast-changing environment.
