Qualified candidates should possess Board Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and have successfully completed a fellowship in microsurgery. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic and clinical credentials with excellent communication skills. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing the growing microsurgical program at Rush, and in particular with breast and lymphedema surgery, genitourinary, and lower extremity reconstruction. Ample opportunities exist to build a cosmetic and general reconstructive surgery practice within the Rush University Medical Center and its affiliated sites. Participation in clinical research will be actively encouraged. Candidates should be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or above and should be able to start in July 2021.
The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University is rapidly expanding, and comprised of academic faculty who practice in a team-based atmosphere.
