The Financial Advisor II serves as a key financial resource to the Finance Team. This person provides financial analysis required to support the goals and objectives of Baylor Scott & White Health. The Financial Advisor II provides financial analysis support to administrators, department directors and other team members to assist in the efficient and cost effective operations of BSWH.

In addition, the Financial Advisor II has the following responsibilities:

Prepares the operating and capital budget (s) for assigned areas, the 5-year financial operating forecast to include statistics, payer mix, payments, capital, etc

Provides ongoing budget vs. actual revenue and expense variance analysis.

Develops and produced Management Reports.

Serves as liaison between the assigned area and Decision Support Services and other finance areas of BSWH.

The ideal candidate will have  excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have a passion for accuracy and process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Bachelors

- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 3 years experience required

Preferred 4-5 years experience

- Preferred Distinguished with Excel
