Guthrie Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to join an established team at its main Sayre, PA location. Fellowship trained is preferred. 

 Highlights of the Position 

• High volume practice with a large referral base 
• Updated operating rooms with MAKO/robotic assisted surgery available  
• 1:6 call schedule 
• Practice with other highly fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons
• Opportunity to regionalize to other clinics for practice growth 
• 3 orthopedic traumatologists on staff to allow for focus on practice
• Robust EHR (Epic 10-Star health system, top 1% of Epic organizations) 

Work Life Balance 

• General Ortho call only (1:6)
• Schedule starts with 2 days OR and 3 days clinic  
• Advanced practice Providers support both outpatient and surgical services 
• Generous Paid Time Off annually, in addition to holidays and sick time

• Teaching opportunities – Guthrie’s Orthopaedic Residency offers the opportunity for clinical academic appointment. The successful candidate also has the potential to participate in medical student education. Guthrie is a regional campus for the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
