This opportunity permits the growth of an existing practice, which currently consists of 7 gastroenterologists with 5 advanced practitioners and is the premier GI specialty practice within the region. Services include EUS, ERCP, FibroScan, esophageal and anorectal motility and is fully integrated with the advanced endoscopy and liver transplantation programs at Geisinger Medical Center.
Geisinger's Western Region includes Geisinger Gray's Woods, based in State College, PA and Geisinger Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown, PA.
Geisinger Gray's Woods is the largest multi-specialty clinic in the Geisinger System at 144,000 square feet and hosts a multitude of specialty clinics as well as a state of the art outpatient surgery and endoscopy center. Physicians based in State College also provide services at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital in nearby Lewistown, PA.
The State College region offers an outstanding quality of life in a university town environment, including excellent restaurants and cultural activities, and some of the top nationally-ranked public and private schools. State College offers easy access to Interstate-80 and a local airport for weekend getaways to Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and New York City.
