Position DetailsThe Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Geisinger Health System is offering an international postdoctoral research fellowship opportunity for a physician interested in advancing research in the field of orthopaedics. The paid, full time position is a one year fellowship to begin in July 2021. This is an industry funded position at a teaching hospital and level one trauma center in Danville, Pennsylvania. The focus of this research fellowship is orthopaedic trauma. The fellow will participate in the full spectrum of clinical research: project design, data acquisition, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, poster/manuscript writing, and presentation. The individual will work closely with the orthopaedic research team, which is comprised of research project coordinators, a director, and faculty. Applicants must be a qualified orthopaedic surgeon with current board certification for their respective country.
