Fairview Health Services is seeking a Casual Hospice Physician to help provide medical direction for our large, established Hospice program. Hospice treats the physical and emotional symptoms experienced at the end of life. The Hospice multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse clinicians, clergy, social workers, music therapy and massage therapy.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, IM/Peds, or Emergency Medicine residency training program.
BC/BE with the ABMS
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Board certification in Hospice/Palliative Care preferred, but not required. We are willing to provide training to applicants without prior hospice experience who have a passion for end of life care, are committed to lifelong learning, and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
