Analyze, enter, and process professional charges, including surgical procedures and anesthesia received by the Physician Billing Department
Ensure the accuracy of all information entered into IDX, Screening Database, Surgical Coding Database and OpTime Systems
Review Patient Keeper assignments to ensure the timely processing of charges and investigate charges requiring follow up
Proactively identify and resolve any issues impacting the timely submission of charges
Work collaboratively with PBD teams to have charges processed according to departmental guidelines and workflows
Participate in departmental process improvement initiatives
A high school diploma/GED is required
At least 1 year of proven experience in a healthcare or administrative capacity
