Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing)-RME Coordinator
The Reusable Medical Equipment (RME) Coordinator, SPS interprets policies and procedures of Sterile Processing Service (SPS), functions within established guidelines, demonstrates the ability to work effectively, and develops sound relationships with nursing staff and other professional and supportive personnel. Duties include but are not limited to: Provides oversight in the development, implementation, coordination, maintenance, and evaluation of critical, semi-critical, and non-critical medical devices within the Reusable Medical Equipment (RME) Program. Reviews the acquisition of new equipment and advises using service of anticipated delivery dates. Controls the release of any new equipment until verification that all standard operating procedures (SOPs) have been developed and commun
