Position Summary The Manager, Accounting is responsible for daily supervision of the Accounting team, ensuring proper segregation of duties and internal controls, and the creation of analysis of monthly financial reporting packages that adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This includes primary responsibility for the month-end Financial Close process for various entities, including journal entry review for a high volume of entries, and monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliation review. Additionally, this Manager oversees the escheatment process for various bank accounts from the leadership and guidance perspective. In addition, this position directs the preparation of audit schedules and tax returns and will interface directly with external parties, such as auditors, tax preparers and Finance team members at affiliated entities. Concurrently, this Manager also creates and upholds a culture of accountability and promotes employee engagement and professional development. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
