The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Assistant or Associate Professor, Pediatric Genetics
The Department of Pediatrics in Stony Brook Children's Hospital seeks faculty for the Division of Pediatric Genetics at either the Assistant or Associate Professor Level.
Requirements include: MD/DO degree, Board Eligible/Board Certified in Genetics, eligible for medical licensure in New York State. Preference will be given to candidates who are Board Certified in Pediatrics and have a demonstrated commitment and proficiency in clinical and translational research. Responsibilities include development of research programs, teaching and participation in patient care programs appropriate to a major university. Opportunities and excellent resources for research also exist.
This is a faculty academic position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Individuals will be selected on the basis of their training, clinical experience, research potential and their commitment to teaching. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with qualifications. Excellent resources for research and start-up funds are available. The position will be full time, faculty, academic (Assistant or Associate Professor).
