ChristianaCare is one of the nation's largest teaching institutions and a major tertiary-care health system. Offering a fully accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program, our program is at the forefront of the specialty in education, scholarly activity and surgical technique.
ChristianaCare is also Delaware's only Level I adult and pediatric trauma center and is approximately the 15th busiest health system on the East Coast, in-terms of admissions and emergency room visits. Our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) program and the residents, benefit in that ChristianaCare Residency Programs are not offered in otorhinolaryngology or plastic surgery, affording them the unique opportunity to gain experience in all areas of head and neck surgery without jurisdictional issues.
We presently seek a full-time or part-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, committed to academics, to join a team focused on excellence in patient care and residency education. This faculty role will primarily require resident clinic teaching. Didactic education and scholarly activity are also encouraged.

To be considered, our qualifications include:
Successful graduation from a fully accredited Dental School with a DMD or DDS degree.
Successful completion of a fully accredited Oral and maxillofacial Surgery residency training program.
Board certification or active pursuit of certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
