Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. In coordination with the organization’s Chief Administrative Officer.The Risk and Occupational Health will support EMSA’s risk, safety and health program and initiatives through comprehensive management of the organization’s occupational health services including but not limited to members injury and exposure, case management, detection and reporting, development and implementation of prevention strategies, and related health education. This position will support organizational values and will play a vital play monitoring and mitigating workplace injury, illness, and exposure, and managing associated organizational risk. This position will promote a culture of awareness and prevention across the organization.
Operational level knowledge of infectious disease epidemiology and effective prevention and control strategies as it pertains to healthcare occupational exposure and injury.
Knowledge of short term and long-term disability and worker’s compensation case management.
Operational knowledge of OSHA’s Injury and Illness recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
Capable of negotiating and managing a variety of personalities, managing, and resolving conflict and assisting Team Members during stressful situations.
