The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The Sepsis Coordinator leads and facilitates the development, implementation, and ongoing adherence to the identification and treatment of sepsis patient populations. The RN Coordinator also ensures these programs adhere to the mission and vision of CSV.
Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an ADN, BSN or MSN degree or graduate from an accredited physician assistant or medical school.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Hold a valid NM RN license, if graduated from nursing school. Obtain BLS and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
SKILLS:
Excellent reading, writing, and editing skills in English.
Familiarity with Epic and ability to effectively evaluate medical records.
Competence with word processing and spreadsheets.
Strong organizational skills.
Must be self-directed.
Excellent telephone and communication skills.
Ability to articulate information or data to multiple audiences with varying level of knowledge and expertise.
Must be able to understand graphical displays of data.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, test hypotheses and draw valid conclusions.
Understanding of hospital processes and the systems involved in the delivery of patient care.
Demonstrate skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years nursing experience in a critical care setting, if graduate from nursing school. If graduate from physician assistant or medical school, successful completion of clerkship rotations. One (1) to two (2) years Quality Improvement experience in acute care hospital desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to move around the hospital to all units/departments; requires close work, good vision and fine motor dexterity.
