The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program surveillance, assessment, reporting of communicable diseases to public health, monitoring the environment for infection prevention and control risks including construction activities and providing educational activities that support the organization-wide infection prevention and control program at Valley Children's Healthcare.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) Either a Bachelor's Degree in related field, Master's Degree preferred or a combination of equivalent experience and education; B) a minimum of five years of progressive and successful experience in infection prevention, 10 years preferred; C) a minimum of 3 years leadership experience; D) Active CA Registered Nurse Licensure, Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) or other CA license in a related clinical field required E) Certified Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) required.
