Overview Northwest Permanente, P.C., is a self-governed, physician-led, multispecialty group of over 1,500 physicians, surgeons, and clinicians, caring for over 600,000 members in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The Legal Lead Project Manager works with the NWP General Counsel, Compliance Officer and Risk Officer in the development, implementation and management of a variety of legal, risk, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters. Major Accountabilities - Works with and supports the NWP General Counsel, Corporate Compliance Officer and Risk Officer internally and externally in managing the areas of department responsibility.
- Develop, implement and maintain Intellectual Property Asset Protection Program. Creation and administration of Intellectual Property Asset Protection Program docket and work with outside counsel and external agencies and authorities for protection and enforcement of intellectual property. Plan, manage, coordinate and influence activities of the department and key stakeholders for the Intellectual Property Asset Protection Program.
- Support and develop organizational structures and help administer transactions, programs, process improvements, initiatives, documentation and filings associated with conversion of Shares, corporate restructure, purchase and redemption programs.
- Develop and maintain department systems for administration coordination, and communication between the Office of Legal Affairs team, the physician leadership and other key stakeholders on matters related to legal, corporate, risk and intellectual property programs, documentation and systems.
- Website management and department administration.
Other Financial Impact: - Advise on the financial impact of new projects on existing and future departmental budgets.

Minimum Qualifications - Ability to assimilate and apply complex and diverse administrative, legal or management systems, authorities, and resources.

- Degree or certificate in Business or Legal affairs and/or equivalent experience working in a health-care or business or Legal administration environment.
- Minimum ten years (10) of experience supporting with senior-level executives or Counsel.
- Minimum five years (5) of project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex and diverse information to formulate a recommendation or course of action.
- Working knowledge of policies and practices relative to NWP and KP activities.
- Working knowledge of federal and state legal, litigation, intellectual property, and health care regulatory or compliance matters.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization as well as to operate in politically complex situations.
- Confidence and willingness to take initiative and to be proactive.
- Excellent time management/prioritization skills; demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, with shifting priorities, successfully meeting deadlines
