The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. The Continual Medical Education Program Administrator under direct supervision of the CME Supervisor provides oversight and administrative support to the continuing medical education training programs to meet ACCME accreditation standards of regularly scheduled series.
The essential functions of the Continual Medical Education Program Administrator include the following:
Complete ACCME accreditation paperwork for CME programs and provide timely communications of the CME accreditation decisions to ACCME via electronic system and to accredited organizations.
Collaborate with the Supervisor of Continuing Medical Education to ensure programs remain in compliance for ACCME accreditation and serve as a liaison between both internal and external agencies to ensure all records and files are in strict compliance with ACCME guidelines.
Provide feedback and continuing education on interpretation of CME requirements, survey process and decisions in order to maintain consistency and equivalency with ACCME requirements.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) accreditation process and standards is essential for the role. The candidate must have the ability to manage professional programs, complex timelines, prioritize multiple tasks, and work independently or with a team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.) and have excellent problem-solving, communication, oral, written, edit and proofreading skills.
