Assist the Supervisors in the day-to-day activities to complete benefits verifications and prior authorizations. Performs most functions in the Supervisors absence.
Take a lead role in staff training/development, operational support, and data collection/analysis.
Train new employees on procedures, provides training on changes in procedures and systems and responds to questions from staff members in the department.
High School Diploma / GED is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
At least 2-4 years of experience in healthcare is required; experience in patient accounts, physician billing, authorizations, or collection role at a medical facility is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with significant experience in working with Excel
