The primary role of the Senior Technical Coordinator is to serve as a technical consultant and coordinator on projects and large service requests. Responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive analysis and modeling and recommend optimal technical solutions to project teams/stakeholders. The Senior Technical Coordinator is accountable for ensuring that clear, concise requirements have been captured from the customer, coordinating execution workflow, facilitating solution design, and communicating projected labor requirements to the delivery teams/leadership.
Manage project planning, solution designs, configurations, and implementation of tasks to deliver robust environments that meet customer requirements, in collaboration with the project management and other technology teams.
Collect, consolidate, evaluate and refine project requirements with the customer, translate into technical requirements, and recommend solutions, standardizing where possible.
Assist project managers with project assessment and estimation, resource requirements, solution requirements, and coordinate project execution resources.
Responsible for the recommendation, validation, and adherence to defined standards.
Manage effective relationships and work in partnership with customers, leadership, team members, vendors, and contractors to deliver robust technical solutions while ensuring that service level commitments and project timelines are maintained.
Facilitate and coordinate project purchases, project execution resources and vendors.
Work with appropriate technology teams to ensure that project deployments are operationally ready and new technologies are fully handed off to Service Operations staff for on-going support.
Provide analytical and technical expertise in a credible manner ensuring successful project implementation and outstanding service delivery.
Provide timely status updates to customers and project team and communicate delays and roadblocks.
Identify and communicate project risks.
Function as a projects team primary point of contact, working internally with other team members as needed to meet customer requirements and expectations.
Coordinate with other technology teams across the organization to ensure prompt and appropriate hand-off of project tasks.
Actively manage a portfolio of projects and serve as the team's central point of contact and liaison for project requirements information (functional and non-functional), clarification, and questions.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Meet regularly and provide status updates to the stakeholders/project teams and department leadership ensuring overall project alignment and execution.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and training to junior team members.
Analyze and provide input to the continual improvement of processes, policies, and best practices to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.
Champion IT delivery processes and strategies.
Responsible for performing work at multiple Fairview sites and transporting equipment as needed within a scheduled shift.
Bachelors (4-year degree) in Computer Science or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience with focus on Information Technology/Systems related technical field.
7+ years of working in IT operations, delivery, and support in an enterprise (10,000+ users) or healthcare environment
Reliable personal transportation to perform work at multiple sites during a scheduled shift.
Proven effectiveness in a multi-vendor, multi-operating system environment.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships with customers and clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Excellent customer service focus, highly organized, and team oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Technical knowledge and competency in designing, configuring, implementing and/or operating endpoint solutions (desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, networks, printers, scanners, etc.)
Bachelors (4-year degree) in Computer Science or related field.
