The role of the SaaS Architect is to enable executive business and IT leaders to make investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization. As part of an Enterprise Architect team, this position will provide technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices for Tenetâ��s Cloud Software as a Service application portfolio. The ideal candidate for this role is an IT generalist with large enterprise experience in multiple *aaS disciplines who is comfortable working directly with executive business and IT leadership.
Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy.
Coordinates the shaping and prioritization of IT projects to ensure all projects follow the architecture plan and align with the current budget and standards for launching successful projects.
Works on highly complex projects that require indepth knowledge across multiple domains.
Acts as a thought leader responsible for SaaS strategy and road map.
Advises senior IT leadership on enterprise strategic planning, IT governance, architecture, IT transformations and IT risk management.
Develops and communicates architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Reviews existing business processes and establishes metrics to improve business processes, as well as support of all architectural disciplines under their direction.
Design technology solutions by modeling requirements and applying standard architecture methodologies and manages the lifecycle of IT solution delivery.
Ability to drive through influence ideal solution strategy with agility and leadership qualities.
Optimize among constraints (e.g., resources, environment, and performance) to deliver architectural solutions, developing advanced/leading-edge technologies and/or concepts.
4+ years of Information Technology experience is required with work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and SaaS planning and operations.
1+ years of experience as solution architect with a proven track record of implementing innovative strategies / solutions
Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
Strong ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups of business and technical stakeholders
Bachelorâ��s Degree in Information Technology or related field
Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture, business reengineering principles and processes, and basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
A Masters degree is a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly and audience appropriate manner.
