The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The Medicaid Liaison SWHP serves as a dedicated relationship manager to the Scott and White Health Plan (SWHP) provider network in the assigned service area. Incumbent in this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to SWHP providers, and providing timely and accurate responses to all provider concerns and issues. Is responsible for delivering adequate training and education to SWHP providers and their office staff for all product lines including, but not limited to, conducting new provider orientations.
WHAT IS EXPECTED (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Develop and maintain trusting, personal relationships with SWHP providers and their office staff via office visits, telephone calls, and correspondence
Meet weekly provider contact goals
Assist the Credentialing Team by performing site visits/surveys as needed
Identify gaps in the network and works with the Network Development Team to find providers to contract with to fill the gaps
Serve as the liaison for SWHP providers and delivers timely and accurate responses to all provider concerns and issues
Work with internal departments to ensure providers have a complete resolution
Work with the Quality Improvement Team on various HEDIS initiatives with SWHP providers
The ideal candidate has excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills; has strong problem solving and analytical skills; has the ability to multi-task, set priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
