The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Duties of the position include, but are not limited to: Provide day-to-day care of veteran patients, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings Assess, consult, and treat hematology and oncology patients Serve as an expert in chemotherapy and other hematology and oncology procedures, to include bone marrow aspiration and biopsy Work closely with other providers, nurses, pharmacist and other disciplines for caring our veterans Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards meeting at the VA and other meetings at UCSF Fresno Participate in research and clinical trials Able to become a staff faculty in Hematology and Oncology at UCSF Fresno Actively participate in training residents, fellows and other medical students that rotate at the VA Sign chemo regimens, obtain patient consents, triage consults and follow VA policies and procedures for conduct, time and attendance and scheduling rules.
