Medical Supply Technicians provide sterilization activities, preparation, supply items and reusable medical equipment decontamination and distribution support to the medical center. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Provide sterilization, preparation, supply items and reusable medical equipment decontamination and distribution support for the medical center. Processing surgical trays and sets and various other items that could be processed or assembled through the Preparation and Decontamination areas of Sterile Processing Service. Working as team member with other Medical Supply Technicians of various experience to carry out the daily work utilizing the written standard operating procedures and/or manufactures written instructions in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted/standard practices. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 1530 - 2400. May be required to work different shifts, occasional, weekends and holidays. Tours may be changed to accommodate work load.
