The individual will be involved in surgical management of coronary, valvular, and thoracic aortic disease and transcatheter therapeutics. In this clinical capacity, an individual should also have expertise in cardiothoracic transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, aortic dissection, and TEVAR. The incumbent will be responsible for providing on-call coverage twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, in accordance with the call schedule. The individual will provide coverage as needed at the affiliate campus and affiliated facilities. The cardiac surgeon will also conduct innovative research and participate in the education and training of students and residents. Expertise in all aspects of cardiovascular surgery. The individual will be involved in surgical management of coronary, valvular, and thoracic aortic disease and transcatheter therapeutics. Expertise in cardiothoracic transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, aortic dissection, and TEVAR.
