We are excited to recruit an Associate Director, Marketing & Communications, Employee Engagement, who is ready to join and grow a new Employee Engagement function at one of the nations leading cancer centers. This role is a critical building block in our strategy to inform, inspire, and engage employees at every step of their MSK journeys, aligned to our vision, mission, and values.
Reporting to our VP of Employee Engagement, you will:
Help build the new baseline for our employee engagement approaches.
Foster cross-functional and interdisciplinary relationships, data and knowledge sharing, and build wide-ranging support for our engagement strategies.
Partner with leaders to strategize timely, relevant, effective, and engaging institution-wide employee engagement campaigns, including the rollout of new programs, initiatives, and policies that affect broad swaths of our employees.
Manage multiphase communications programs of broad and deep organizational significance spanning business process optimization, technology and digital/workplace transformation, mission and values, people & culture, and more.
Provide a combination of strategic counsel and hands-on expertise to advance projects to key achievements and desired outcomes.
Craft and implement campaign plans, presentations and an array of communications deliverables including extensive, original writing for your own work products as well as reviewing/editing the work of colleagues.
Help connect the dots and see around corners on transformation initiativesincluding upstream and downstream dependencies or impacts of communications and engagement efforts.
Apply keen cultural awareness and sound judgment to problem-solve, recommend ways forward, and involve necessary individuals at the appropriate time.
Work closely with Intranet/OneMSK team to produce, publish and measure the effectiveness of relevant and resonant digital content that supports our engagement plans.
Actively contribute to an interdisciplinary workstream for re-imaginingthe OneMSK experience, including user (employee) research, content strategy, future design considerations, etc.
8+ years of experience applying a broad range of knowledge and experience to manage organization-wide transformation and multi-faceted work assignments.
Outstanding writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize sophisticated information into accessible and relatable terms.
Strong communications program management skills, with expertise in building, leading, and scaling complex programs that involve a significant understanding of enterprise change management principles and drive high-visibility outcomes with multiple organizational partners.
Ability to develop trusting, highly collaborative professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at every level of the organization, spanning many departments and functions.
Deep knowledge of enterprise communication and collaboration tools and approaches; comfort with understanding and relaying technical concepts as needed.
Strong enterprise software skills; proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Yammer) and other collaboration and project management tools.
