The Curriculum Education Assistant (CEA) is a position that functions to assist the curriculum office in the implementation and operation of the medical school curriculum. A CEA is responsible for providing curriculum and faculty related support activities in the medical school curriculum including proctoring exams, support in preparing course material, exam preparation, supporting educational programs and initiatives, supporting simulation and standardized patient activities, serving as a liaison for the curriculum office and providing student and faculty support for other curriculum activities.
Assists with the collection and analysis of data for surveys, course reports, and curricular mapping.
Support L-CHIP projects as needed which may include some travel. Assist in the preparation and implementation of class sessions, both in-person and remotely.
Assist with the collection and analysis of data for surveys including, but not limited to: the residency director and alumni and other curriculum focused assessments and surveys, course reports, and curricular mapping.
Assist in preparation of assessments.
Assist in activities in the Simulation Center including standardized patient exams.
Assist with LCME accreditation activities (printing, editing, filing, collecting data, etc.) as needed
Attend curriculum meetings and trainings as needed
Research assistant in the basic or clinical sciences department as needed.
Administration of selected summer research program activities and other educational initiatives and programs as needed.
Serves as Research assistant in the basic or clinical sciences department as needed.
Assists in summer research program activities as needed.
Proctor examinations in the MD program.
Supports research projects and projects as needed.

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in educational environment and experience with learning management systems is desired.
